<--You Gotta Love These Guys
If you had the choice to play a new video game console title or see a newly released movie, which would you choose? It looks like more people would rather stay in and game out. Let’s put it into perspective, going to the movie theater for two people at night will cost about 25 dollars without any food or drink. Let’s say one drink is purchased pushing the grand total for 2.5 hours of entertainment to 30 dollars. One the other side, a new video game will cost 60 dollars and will entertain a room full of people. Assuming a video game console is already owned that 60 dollars will entertain for at least 3 weeks. Is a new game worth the extra 30 dollars?
I think so. Many times blockbuster movies fall short of expectations. Case and point, Star Trek. Don’t get me wrong it was good but not what I thought it would be. I would have rather stayed home and turned on the video game console. It is safe to say that video game console popularity is one of those recession proof forms of entertainment almost everyone loves.
