My son came home from school the other day with a long list of codes. I asked him what they were and he said they were game cheats a friend of his gave him. I had never heard of game cheats for video games before, so I was curious what they were. As he was playing his video game, he put in the game cheats for that game and could unlock parts of the game that you couldn't otherwise. Some of the game cheats would even unlock the entire game without having to go through it all. That was pretty cool. I kind of got sucked into the whole game cheats thing and started looking for cheats for the games that I play. Unlocking the entire game so you can play all the different tracks, teams, use all the guns, and have all the special attributes was really a lot of fun. I was getting a little carried away with it so that I wouldn't play a video game without the game cheats. I was obsessed. I had to get away from the game cheats, so I went to buy a new game.

At 2nd City Shopping, which is located at www.2ndcityshopping.com, I found some great new video games that I wanted to give a try. I ordered them, but had to make myself a promise that I would not use any game cheats. When the games arrived, I started to play them. It wasn't long into the first one that I was having a hard time getting past a certain point. Without thinking about it, I went to the computer to look for gamecheats. Finding the game wasn't hard as it is very popular, but as I was writing down the available game cheats, my son came by and said, "I thought you weren't going to use any more game cheats?" Busted!

After that, I went to the game and continued to play it until late into the night. I never thought I would get past that sticking point. I don't know why I was having such a problem with it. Once I got by it, it seemed so simple. I think I was relying on the cheat codes for so long that I forgot how to think for myself. It was fun using the codes, but now that I have already finished off some games without them, I think I will continue to work at them without it. Although, I do use the codes for doing cool things like making myself into a giant or gaining other special abilities not found in the game.

If you ever have the pleasure to make it to our entertainment room you will be able to see and experience the history of Nintendo consoles. The latest one we have adorned our entertainment room with is one of those awesome Wii Nintendo consoles, but since we’ve been hardcore Nintendo consoles fans you can also play with the older consoles. Most people that come into the house want to play with the new Wii, but they also love to play that old Super Mario game on the first of Nintendo consoles to ever come out. A lot of people threw out their old Nintendo consoles whenever the new ones came out, but we knew those old boxes were going to be sought out by gaming purists all over the country. For my money, I think it does not get better than one of the Wii Nintendo consoles, but it’s really nice to be able to reminisce about the old days of gaming with the older Nintendo consoles. If you like something in between, we also have the super NES and the game cube Nintendo consoles with almost all the game cheats that come along with them for your entertainment. Our entertainment room is a real Nintendo fan safe heaven.

Stepping Up The 1080p HDTV Experience Up A Notch

http://www.nintendoconsoles1080phdtv.net/2009/October/Stepping-Up-The-18p-HDTV-Experience-Up-A-Notch.htm

A couple of months back my sister and I bought my dad a brand new and very addicting 1080p HDTV. Now we are looking to make his entertainment room pregnant with even more overdrive fun. We just called him a couple of days ago and told him that we were looking to improve his 1080p HDTV entertainment experience. Immediately there was an incredulous silence coming from the other side of the phone and about thirty seconds later a voice said, “I think you guys are yanking my chain, because I can’t believe that it can get any better than my 1080p HDTV.” It was funny because he said it in a tone of voice that expressed simultaneous disbelief and desire so we knew we had just tickled his entertainment curiosity bone. It took us a while to get our dad to agree to change his old television set to an awesome 1080p HDTV and now it’s like someone poured a bucket of crazy glue all over him and then made him hug his 1080p HDTV in a deep embrace, because there is nothing out there that can make him move away from the 1080p HDTV. We knew that we had another chance to blow his mind completely with the right gift and we had a good idea where to start.

My sister and I went straight to the laptop and began to search for the coolest 1080p HDTV accessories available when our entertainment room light bulb went off. One thing that dad loves to do with his 1080p HDTV is watch action DVD movies until the sun comes up and we thought that a Blu-Ray player would totally take his movie nights straight up into overdrive. So we started looking for an awesome player and it wasn’t until we landed on 2nd City Shopping located at www.2ndcityshopping.com that we found a player worthy of our Dad’s 1080p HDTV. While perusing their players section we saw the JVC Blu-ray™ Disc Player with BD Live 2.0 which, as we read on the product description, comes with full hi-def 1080p resolution that will allow our dad to get the most out of his 1080p HDTV. However, what really impressed my sister and me about the JVC Blu-ray™ Disc Player with BD Live 2.0 was the whole BD live feature which, as we found after doing some research, allows the user to connect to the Internet and download extra features and even copies of movies and to me this just like going to your favorite concert with a VIP pass—everyone who buys a ticket gets to see the show, but you get all the extras. We can’t wait to see our dad’s face when he experiences the new level of overdrive home theater entertainment and is convinced that things can always get a bit better.

I recall the days of using my video game console before I owned a really great LCD TV like the one that is mounted on the walls in my living room today! The games, while fun, were duller and lacking in the clarity and graphical superiority that they are now, as defined by my awesome LCD TV. After seeing how great my brother’s video game console looked with his LCD TV – which was earlier this year before he moved to LA for work – I was quite impressed. I thought to myself, “Is this what I have been missing out on with my video game console all of these years? <st1:street w:st="on"><st1:address w:st="on">NO WAY</st1:address></st1:street>!” After saving up a good paycheck, I was able to get an LCD TV for my living room that was nearly as large as my brother’s TV was. These days, I like to enjoy my video game console in style on a true 1080p TV that offers amazing high definition contrast. Once you go to this type of resolution, be warned, however, because you won’t want to play a video game console on anything else!

Every little tid bit surrounding the release of Modern Warfare 2 has my interest peaked to the max so when the recent video highlighting “Spec Ops” game mode hit the web in the form of a developer interview, I was pumped. Since a few days ago when the video game console clip below hit the web a few more related videos have been released uncovering what we know about this single or co-operative mode which is different from campaign mode. The new levels will be a similar experience to what we saw in World at War in that if all teammates die the level ends and there is an ability to revive downed players. What has me excited is the level shown at the 1:25 minute mark, it looks like a replica of what occurred to Sean Connery in The Rock while he was ambushed in the old Alcatraz shower room. With cover behind the porcelain shower walls, enemies will definitely have the elevated advantage in this situation. Looks tough.

<--Turn Up the Home Theater

The Estate level seems to resemble what we saw with Creek in multiplayer Modern Warfare. What has me excited is the addition of civilians running around certain maps. It adds a whole new environment where video game console players won’t be able to spray and pray anymore for fear of hitting innocent people. Can’t wait for this video game console release.

Not sure if the demo is available on other video game consoles yet but I can tell you it is worth checking out if it is. One of the reasons the Shift demo should have been released weeks ago is that Forza 3 is on the way at the end of the month. This is by far their greatest competitor on Xbox 360. Now for other systems, not so much because Forza is exclusive to Microsoft.

<--Graphically Superior on 1080p HDTV

At any rate, the demo opens up two race tracks, one in London and the other is a circuit in Germany. Right away four cars are available. There is a Lotus, M3, Skyline, Viper and then after winning enough stars a raced out Zonda is available. This game does one thing extremely well and that is create an intense in-cockpit first person view racing experience. When you hit a wall, the camera blurs, shakes, slides over and depending on the severity fuzzes out for a second before it clears up and you realize the windshield is cracked and 2 opponents passed you. For arcade racers, Shift wins my video game console vote.

It has become habit to check what new demos are released every day. Without warning the Forza 3 demo was out. I had to double take it at first. At 1.23 GBs, it is pretty large for a demo. I switched the LCD HDTV back over to some shows, waited 40 minutes and then it was ready to play. My excitement built as the opening screens started. The first thing I thought when the menu popped up was how clean it all looked. Everything has a very Japanese, straight line, clean edge feel. The back drop is a bright white which really makes the vehicle modeling pop.

It was the first racing demo I have seen on any video game console that had six cars to choose from. There is a Mini Cooper S, Evo, Ferrari California, Audi R8 and a race Porches GT3 RS to pick. Apart from the decaled GT3, every vehicle was available in all its actual colors. Graphically this game is amazing and it should be a crime not to see it over a plasma or LCD HDTV. I’ll get into the gameplay in my next post.

<img align="left" title="game cheats, video game console" border="0" hspace="0" alt="game cheats, video game console" cheats, video game console" src="http://admin.moguling.com/Upload/nintendoconsoles1080phdtv.net/free_10302121231329797946.jpg" width="120" height="46" />If you have ever played some of the online games and thought that other gamers may be using game cheats, you are probably correct. But take some time to read the online forums regarding using game cheats online when you play with your video game console over the internet, and you will quickly realize that many times you can get banned from your online service by doing so. And why should you not? Game cheats are really fun to use in single player campaigns where you get stuck in a level and have trouble defeating the computer programming. However, when you take game cheats online it can really ruin the fun for everybody involved, because they are playing against impossible odds that are greater than them. Should one man’s fun be a thousand others’ disgraces? Don’t get me wrong, I love using game cheats at home. But I always refrain from using them online. And if you do see a player using them you can always file a game cheats complaint. Let’s keep it clean online gamers. Game cheats are best used at home when you are offline!

<img align="left" title="game cheats, video game console" border="0" hspace="0" alt="game cheats, video game console" cheats, video game console" src="http://admin.moguling.com/Upload/nintendoconsoles1080phdtv.net/175515_nes_controler%20Game%20cheats%201479436.jpg" width="100" height="80" />Have you ever wondered why they made game cheats in the first place? I used to play as a tester for different games that they would release on video game consoles. It was a really fun job when I was in high school; you basically played video games to find the flaws and noted them. The real reasons why game cheats were originally created were for two purposes. One, they allowed testers of the games, like me, to access different levels and perks faster to test them and see if they would work. Two, they allowed game reviewers, like the many popular video game console magazines that you see, to be able to play the game faster and rate it quicker. But then there were guys like me and other testers who would leak the game cheats to the world to let others partake in the joy of endless lives, infinite ammo and never dying. And who can really blame us? Ever since the heyday of video game consoles, like Contra – a hit on the original Nintendo Console – game cheats have been, and will always be, a surefire mainstay into the video game world.

<img align="left" title="game cheats, video game console" border="0" hspace="0" alt="game cheats, video game console" cheats, video game console" src="http://admin.moguling.com/Upload/nintendoconsoles1080phdtv.net/images1322323222.jpg" width="97" height="83" style="width: 97px; height: 83px" />Gamers beware before you use some game cheats on your video game consoles because you may be sacrificing your ability to win the game and get a 100% completion on it. That’s right, I was reading up on different game cheats yesterday and there are some that you may not want to use because they can disable certain boards from opening up in the game, and they can also prevent you from getting the different achievements like Xbox 360 achievements or PS3 points, or even Wii high scores. I am not saying that I don’t use game cheats all of the time when I get stuck on certain boards or levels, but I have learned my lesson on numerous occasions before. So what I do before I use any game cheats is I always look up the walk-throughs online, to see what other gamers have to say about using them and if they found any associated consequences. Similarly, I have learned to never use game cheats when playing games online. Most of the servers are programmed to recognize and block them, or worse, you could get kicked from the game.

I have actually created a small game out of using game cheats for this game, which require that you activate your cell phone in the game and type in certain phone numbers which unlock particular cheats. What is cool about the game cheats for this game is that you can try to play what I call ‘Survival.’ You get the cops on your tail, chasing you around the city, and you see how long you can last, and how many stars that you can get (the more stars that you have the more cops that will chase you) before you get taken down. You will find that entering in the game cheats gets harder and harder to do as you continue to race around the city and try to evade the coppers. For me, I have been so far able to stay alive for nearly twenty minutes once I have the entire police force after my guy.

<img align="left" title="video game console, lcd hdtv" border="0" hspace="0" alt="video game console, lcd hdtv" game console, lcd hdtv" src="http://admin.moguling.com/Upload/nintendoconsoles1080phdtv.net/959917_information13212323233232.jpg" width="79" height="100" />If you read the mathematical formula for heaven that I placed above in the title of this post then you probably have a pretty good idea of what my favorite three combinations of technological gadgets are currently. The LCD HDTV in my living room offers amazing visual clarity that always blows my mind and makes me think about how lucky I am to own such a fine, high-tech TV set. The video game console that I have connected to it was specifically designed to take full advantage of the 1080p resolution on my LCD HDTV, so that I can enjoy the best quality of graphics ever created while playing my video game console. Then you add the internet to the mixture, and you have the three things that I love the most: playing my video game console on the internet against other gamers from around the world while enjoying the best screen quality on my advanced TV screen. There is nothing that I would rather do on my day off then log online for a few hours and test my muster against other online gamers to update the online scoreboards with my gaming initials.

It was a revolutionary experience from an online perspective when it launched. It still holds it’s ground against other open world, do whatever you want third person shooters but to keep things fresh Rockstar has released a trailer for the second video game console downloadable add on called The Ballad of Gay Tony (review video attached below) available in October. Coming after the motorcycle gang add on, I think this will entice gamers by the addition of a parachute into Liberty City. Used in previous GTA titles for whatever reason it wasn’t part of the fourth game until now.

In these new set of video game console missions, players take the control of character who is the assistant of Gay Tony. Expect some new guns, a new helicopter and maybe some new combo fight moves. I expect some new mini games to keep the gameplay fresh. We won’t know until the end of October but it looks like a fresh new facelift for an old video game console classic.

http://www.nintendoconsoles1080phdtv.net/2009/September/How-the-Internet-Has-Changed-Video-Game-Consoles-Forever.htm

<img align="left" title="video game console" border="0" hspace="0" alt="video game console" game console" src="http://admin.moguling.com/Upload/nintendoconsoles1080phdtv.net/video%20game%20console,3146565656.jpg" width="100" height="56" />I think that it is safe to say that most gamers in their twenties can recall the video game consoles of yesteryear. Namely, the video game consoles that started it all, like the Super Nintendo. Or even other, more advanced video game consoles, like the Sega Genesis, or the Game Cube. But the one thing that I have seen that has really upped the ante and changed video game consoles forever is the World Wide Web. Before video game consoles had internet connectivity, multiplayer games were limited to same console play. However, with the internet around, gamers can now connect from all over the world and enjoy playing each other whenever they desire. The best part, at least in my opinion, and with exception to live, online gaming, is that the video game consoles of today can actually download vital system updates, game patches and glitch fixes from the web, via the handy mainstream servers that are provided for free from the game makers. This, as far as I am concerned, is a priceless resource for gamers everywhere today!

http://www.nintendoconsoles1080phdtv.net/2009/September/What-Will-Video-Game-Consoles-of-the-Future-Look-Like.htm

<img align="left" title="video game console" border="0" hspace="0" alt="video game console" game console" src="http://admin.moguling.com/Upload/nintendoconsoles1080phdtv.net/video%20game%20console146562536232.jpg" width="100" height="68" />I have been pondering this forever and a day, ever since the video game consoles that are currently out were released for the public, roughly five some-odd years back. What I have been wondering is what features, perks and specs will be offered by the video game consoles of the future? Curious as to what this would be in the future-tense, I have some done some serious online digging, and was able to find out some really cool information as to where the video game consoles of today are headed over the next ten years. According to my research, many video game consoles may become just lofty cable modems that connect you to their servers, where for an affordable monthly fee you can play all of the games that you desire. Could you imagine if there were far less moving parts on video game consoles, and you paid a lot less money to own them, and you never had to pay for games again? While this is not set in stone, it would be a pretty cool future for video games to say the least!

http://www.nintendoconsoles1080phdtv.net/2009/August/Game-Cheats-for-Newly-Released-Sports-Resort.htm

<img title="Game Cheats" height="59" alt="game cheats" Cheats" src="http://admin.moguling.com/Upload/nintendoconsoles1080phdtv.net/721110_ping-pong_2.jpg" width="91" style="width: 91px; height: 59px" />About a week ago, Wii Sports Resort finally hit store shelves. I have only watched someone play this title but it looked just as fun as the first Wii Sports. More mini games, cleaner control and a lot more game cheats. One of the first set of game cheats is found in the YouTube video below. The video is an advertisement for the game but before each mini game selection, there will be some faint game cheats written in white over the screen. I suggest pausing it as the writing pops up otherwise it is easy to miss.

Most of the game cheats for Wii Sports Resort make little changes to the match like playing basketball at night or having a table tennis match to 11 points. The best cheat I have seen for this game is the secret bowling shot for knocking down all one hundred pins, which I posted a few days ago. If interested that post is about halfway down the blog. I can’t wait to get my hands on this game to really get into its dynamics. From the passenger’s seat it looks great.ootie Ho

http://www.nintendoconsoles1080phdtv.net/2009/July/Easy-Game-Cheats-for-Prototype-that-Wont-Cost-you-EP-Points.htm

<img align="left" title="game cheats" border="0" hspace="0" alt="game cheats" cheats" src="http://admin.moguling.com/Upload/nintendoconsoles1080phdtv.net/Easy%20Game%20Cheats%20for%20Prototype%20that%20Won’t%20Cost%20you%20EP%20Points326565.jpg" width="125" height="88" />If you have ever played the game Prototype then you already know how insane it can be. It’s like they took Grand Theft Auto and made it a million times better, seriously. There are some awesome game cheats for Prototype but many users are apt to implement them because it can ruin the game ending or not allow you to get a hundred percent completion, thus defeating the purpose of playing the game. However, there are some game cheats, or rather strategic ways that you can go about getting your character up as high as possible without compromising EP points (the points that let you buy upgrades in the game for your character) and without making it impossible to get a hundred percent completion. So here is what you need to do in order to perform these legal game cheats. One: destroy as many cars and buildings as possible before going one missions to rack up extra EP points. This way you can buy upgrades sooner and become more powerful. To: go around and collect all of the location orbs to unlock upgrades and EP points that make your guy better. Avoiding using traditional game cheats so you don’t ruin the game ending.
